Our Saturday Markets are hosted every Saturday from 9:00am until 2:00pm by the Oklahoma City Farmers Public Market. These gatherings feature produce, dairy, meat, and value added items, like honey, and canned goods and more.
The Saturday Market is a year-round affair and is located on the first floor of the Historic Oklahoma City Farmers Public Market.
As the scope and impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, The Farmers Public Market remains focused on providing you and our community with the food items and other essentials your family needs.
The Farmers Public Market has been deemed an essential business as our Saturday Markets connect local farmers and ranchers and their produce, meats and dairy products to folks living in our community.
Our market vendors will be appropriately spaced throughout the facility with shopper-controlled access in an effort to adhere to social distancing protocols instructed by the CDC and the President of the United States. In addition to our wipe-down and sanitization efforts, we request that our shoppers:
We are closely monitoring the situation and reacting quickly to changing circumstances.
During the opening hour of the Saturday Market, our senior shoppers will be served first. This is a dedicated time when customers who are 60 or over and individuals identified by the CDC as high risk may shop with priority. This special hour for our 60+ customers is from 9am to 10am, Saturday morning each week. We are asking our local community to help us ensure the integrity of this measure. Our goal in this effort is to limit occupancy in the market during this time.
One final thought: consider thanking our market vendors as they assist you with your shopping experience. Without them, The Farmers Public Market would not be able to provide the services you depend on. They are the everyday heroes who make it possible for you to keep yourself and your family nourished during this time of uncertainty.
Together, we will continue to navigate the challenges that COVID-19 presents and come through this time stronger than ever.
Wishing you health,
The Farmers Market Team
